I have added a landscape gallery to the site with a selection of images from England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Norway and Italy.
This first image is from Scotland in late November. On the way back from the famous parallel roads of Glen Roy we came past this large tree with the Nevis range in the background.
I stopped the car on the single track road (there is no traffic anyway as it is a dead end mountain road on a late November evening) and a 10 second exposure with an aperture of f/9.0 at ISO 100 gave me the perfect movement of the clouds over the Nevis range while the tree is perfectly sharp as there was no wind to speak of.
This second image is of Beachy head lighthouse which is now part of Southdowns National Park. The image was taken on a perfect summers day with many walkers walking over the Seven Sisters Chalk Cliffs. With my 200mm lens and some patience I could isolate these 2 walkers with the sheer drop and small lighthouse.
